I haven’t fully abandoned you, little blog. I’ve been doing a lot of living, and lots of snapping, but blogging… maybe I have abandoned you, just a bit.
We just returned from a weekend and John & Juli’s cottage(s) which was the loveliest few days I could have asked for. Amazing what a few simple days alone and outside of the city can do for you. It also didn’t hurt that their cottage is pretty much my dream come true. Something about mid-century design + crisp end of summer weather + blue skies + open water… dreamy.

So, this ‘wee trip’ was totally magic. Coming off a mini adventure to a cabin myself, I KNOW how much it can do for you. It is so good. I like your world.
